How: By treading or “Stomping” — an ancient Roman practice that continues in the Douro Valley of Portugal
When: Saturday, September 30 , 12 Noon - 3 P,M,
Where: 1650 East 66th Street
Tickets for stompers:
$25 per adult
$35 at the door
Youth under 19 free, must be accompanied by parent or guardian
Grapes stomped may be purchased for $15 (bring a wide-mouth container).
Purchase amount is equivalent to what an individual stomps.
We'll make wine out of "Stomp 23" for stompers at $20 a bottle.
Guidelines
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting stained or dirty.
Wear pants that can be hiked up.
Stomping will be with clear plastic boots over your soft-soled shoes, socks, or barefeet
Shoes should be easy to remove.
Read and sign liability waiver.
Youth under 19 years of age may stomp for free with written parental consent/liability waiver.
